In 2003, we took John’s first sabbatical and traveled around the west in our then-new motor home. We visited friends in Pine Grove and Escondido California, then traveled to Alamogordo, New Mexico to visit John’s brother Chuck. From there, we went to Arizona to visit Winslow and the Meteor crater, then spent time touring the Grand Canyon and other national parks in Utah.
